Ranging from jazz to blues and to Rock-and-Roll, he often played live on campus and in surrounding venues during his college years.

      After he graduated from the Berklee College of Music, he returned to Taiwan and started to run his own studio, composing background music for short films, documentaries, television programs, computer multimedia, and other multimedia products.

      Some of his most outstanding work include: scoring for the independent film "Layover"(which appeared in 1999 Cannes Film Festival and won the Best Short Film in 2000 Golden Horse Film Awards), creating background music for the Taipei City Government television ads, producing and providing jingles for the National Education Broadcasting Station and campaign music for the Council of Agricultural Planning & Development.
